Band
Alleman Band is open to students who already play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument. The class meets daily and plays two major concerts, Spring and Christmas.

In addition, the Alleman Pep Band plays at home football games, basketball games, and pep assemblies as well as any community events.

Students in the music program participate at the Saint Ambrose Honor Band, the Illinois Music Association District Festival and the Quad City Solo and Ensemble Fest. The band’s most anticipated event is the Partner School Tour, where they get to perform for Seton, Jordan and Our Lady of Grace students. Band members also participate in Liturgies both here and at their own parishes.

Choir
Alleman Pioneer Singers is an auditioned choir that sings numerous concerts in the Quad City area. The choir is a class that meets daily and performs two major concerts at Alleman during the school year, as well as numerous concerts during the Christmas season.

The choir has performed at the Paula Sands Live show, KUUL radio, Rock Island and Moline Senior Christmas Luncheons, Festival of Trees and numerous senior living centers. The class performs Christmas music during the fall semester, and pop choir with choreography during the spring semester.

Students also participate in Quad City Solo Fest and sing for all Liturgies. Choir students are also asked to sing the Star Spangled Banner at Alleman sporting events.
